I'm Diane Gough, a qualified hypnotherapist, and I'd like to thank you for visiting my
page. If you're here, it may be because you're struggling with anxiety, phobias, stress, fears, or confidence
-- or perhaps you want to strengthen your self-belief, manage your weight, or break free from vaping or smoking
sensations. Whatever has brought you here, you're in the right place.
Before becoming a hypnotherapist, I spent many years as a social worker, supporting young offenders,
children and families, and adults with severe learning disabilities. That experience taught me how complex
life can be, and how important it is to meet people with empathy, patience, and respect. It also gave me a
deep understanding of the challenges people face, and how powerful it can be when someone truly listens and
helps you find a way forward.
I later trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy and NLP at the Central Academy, accredited by the GHSC. Now I support
clients with stress, anxiety, confidence, and behaviour change by combining therapeutic techniques with my
social work background so people can not only cope, but thrive.
To deepen my impact, I earned a BA (Hons) in Social Work at Keele University, blending theory with hands-on
safeguarding, advocacy, and multi-agency practice. I continued working with families and children, taking a
holistic approach to social, emotional, and environmental needs, and became known for being compassionate,
reliable, and solution-focused.
Now, through hypnotherapy, I bring that same compassion and insight to my work with clients. My sessions are
designed to help you feel safe, supported, and empowered to make lasting changes. Together, we'll focus on
the goals that matter most to you -- whether that's overcoming fears, building confidence, or creating
healthier habits.
This is your space to move forward with clarity and strength.
